Simple Things by Zero 7I must admit, I'm not much of a swimmer...but I do love to be in or around water. I love to hear the soft splash of it running through a brook or river and I am totally mesmerized by water lapping at my feet whenever I visit the ocean or lake. I could sit all day and listen to waves crashing against the shore, there is something so peaceful and relaxing about that sound. It makes me feel closer to God to see the awesome power and breadth of a huge body of water and to remember how small we are, yet still so important to Him!
On that note, today's flickr find is about water...it seems like there are endless photos of water and people enjoying water posted on flickr but these are just a few of my favorites! The way people capture this pure and natural element on film is breathtaking and amazing...and I think that's proven in these photos! I thought that Water Drop Reflection was my favorite - but then I saw Cat playing with water - and it reminding me of my cat at my parents house - they turn the faucet on and that is how she drinks her water :) XOXO
