Friday Flickr Find

So, I'm a total dork for posting these photos, but I love them! Ever since I was a little girl, I've wanted to live in a castle...my sister and I used to pretend the sofa in our parents basement was a castle and there was a drawbridge (i.e. cushion) to get over the moat we created out of blankets (see, the dorkiness started early on!). I think My Little Pony might have been involved, but I digress. Anyhow...I think now-adays, I'd settle for visiting any one of these beautiful castles (except maybe Leap Castle which is supposedly super-haunted!!) instead of owning one (too much upkeep!). Hope you enjoy and have a great weekend!!

Oh my bloody goodness, you've landed on the most spectacular array of castles! WOW! Truly inspiring! I grew up in a family of three girls, all rather close in age which means we had A LOT of playing house/castles/covered wagons/flying saucer! The couch was always the greatest!

How magical and enchanting are these places? The 1st photo is gorgeous! Such a fantasy world! I don't know if you've ever heard of Carmel, California but I did a piece on there in my blog about a month or so ago, but the whole town is like a little magical town. The homes are smaller but very creative. Have a good day! xo Daisy~
