Simple Things by Zero 7Leave it to Apartment Therapy to post about one of the coolest artists I've come across in some time. How fun are these incredible installations by James Hopkins ? His art is born from the mundane object which he takes and gives new life by creating a visual perception that may not even be seen at first, or is only viewable from a certain angle. My favorite are the "skulls" created with bookshelves and everyday items.

I love the chairs (get it! LOL), but I know I would not want a skull in my bookcase. I wonder if he does anything else with bookcases, the idea is kind of cool. I really like the bottle shelf too. It makes you look.
