Leave it to Apartment Therapy to post about one of the coolest artists I've come across in some time. How fun are these incredible installations by James Hopkins ? His art is born from the mundane object which he takes and gives new life by creating a visual perception that may not even be seen at first, or is only viewable from a certain angle. My favorite are the "skulls" created with bookshelves and everyday items.

I love the chairs (get it! LOL), but I know I would not want a skull in my bookcase. I wonder if he does anything else with bookcases, the idea is kind of cool. I really like the bottle shelf too. It makes you look.
the skulls are amazing
but the hate/love/mirror....too cool
