Friday Flickr Find...

So our family has been all about puppies for the last month after my parents got a new golden retriever puppy named Jake! He's just the cutest little thing (see his picture here) and I thought I'd look at other pictures of doggies for this week's Friday Flickr Find. I just want to hug 'em all!!!

Thanks for the great comments this week and have a fabulous weekend everyone!

Teeny Tiny...

I came across this site the other day and my jaw kinda dropped open in disbelief...I knew it wasn't just me when I showed this to my boss. Same reaction from him! The Tumbleweed Tiny House Company offers homes from 65 to 774 square feet...yeah, you read that right. The thing about these little abodes is...I could totally see setting one of these babies up in the woods or along a lake somewhere for a fabulous little getaway! How adorable!?!?

Yes, I know it seems like I've fallen of the face of the earth lately, I've just not felt like blogging. Sorry for my absence!

But I came across this today and wanted to share. One of my bloggy friends, Meg from Bode 22 was just published!!! Her fabulous Berry Vine Plate Clock was featured in the September 2008 issue of Better Homes and Gardens!!!!! Check it out, and also be sure to check out her fabulous Etsy shop and her blog. Congrats girl!!!!

Passion for Fashion...

I stumbled upon this great website through a new-to-me blog I've been reading, Cosy Up. It's called Polyvore and its quite addicting. If you aren't familiar with it, I highly recommend checking it out! Basically, it's a fashion website where you can sign up for free and play around with different items of clothing, jewelry and accessories to pull together outfits (which they call "sets"). There are literally thousands of pieces which are categorized by color so you can very easily find coordinating pieces. The great thing about it is, most of the pieces are available for purchase and they tell you where to find them so it's a one-stop-shopping experience (for those of you who have the funds!). I could spend all day putting outfits together (I find that I'm much better at this on screen than I am in real life) and I'm really feeling inspired to start dressing better! This makes it so easy and it's really good practice for those of us who need a little refresher from time to time...Check it out, but don't say I didn't warn you about the addictiveness!! Here are some of the outfits I put together all by myself (my parents would be so proud)!!

A Little Birdie Told Me...

I just knew the second I saw these little birdies via The Finer Things blog, that I had to share! These could quite possibly be the cutest things I've ever seen (aside from anything my niece and nephew have ever made, of course!). Visit the Etsy shop of Cotton Bird Designs to check out these precious guys...while I'm not quite sure where I will put them, I'm most definitely going to be making a purchase in the near future. These little sweeties are made from vintage fabric, maps, crossword puzzles and other types of paper and then given delicate wire feet and embroidered eyes. There are even birdies dressed in little waistcoats and bow ties...I'm seriously going to faint from all the cuteness!!
